Marnie Stern es una cantante, compositora y guitarrista neoyorquina, quien se ha ganado cierta fama por su particular forma de tocar la guitarra.
En 2007 debuto con el disco In Advance of the Broken Arm, por el cual recibió en general críticas favorables, siendo nombrada en 2008 por la revista Venus como “La más grande guitarrista mujer de todos los tiempos”.
Su Segundo album de 2008, This Is It and I Am It and You Are It and So Is That and He Is It and She Is It and It Is It and That Is That, ocupó el sitio #44 del Los 50 mejores álbumes de 2008 según Pitchfork.
Este año regresa con su tercer material homónimo, con el cual nos permite de nuevo disfrutar de su habilidad con la guitarra, y el cual incluye las rolas más poderosas de toda su carrera y con una carrera aclamada por la crítica, estamos seguros que Marnie Stern está destinada para algo realmente grande.
